AMECO: Director, Global Used Equipment Sales
Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.
. POSITION CONTENT AND REPORTING RELATIONSHIP(S):

• Lead Global Used Equipment Sales Process and Execution
• Report to VP Global Execution Services

2. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Determine and manage the
Used Equipment strategy for AMECO. This will be accomplished with the direct participation of the regional leads.
• The strategies will consider the following objectives:
o Full leveraging of global used equipment sales volumes.
o Optimization of margin and time to sale.
o Support for management of the global asset base.
• Establish robust common processes to ensure full usage of all available channels of distribution.
• Maximize the combination of margin and speed to sale to meet the company needs.
• Establish multi-year contracts and managing the relationship auction partners.
• Ensure and support the development of adequate used equipment sales networks in all regions as needed.
• Tracking and reporting of key measures across the regions and globally.
• Lead monthly review of used equipment sales actions and programs.
• Build a a strong global used equipment sales process and process team.
• Collaborate with, and leverage related functions in other groups and companies within Fluor.
• Work in accordance with the AMECO processes, Core Values, and AMECO Brand Drivers.

3. AUTHORITIES:

• AMECO used equipment strategy and its integration with AMECO strategic objectives.
• Used equipment sales process
• Key actions plans to achieve the used equipment sales KPI’s and objectives.

4. RESULTS AND DELIVERABLES:

• Achievement of the KPIs:

o Margin on sales
o Time to sale
o Sale price to market value
o % SG&A to sales
o Other KPI’s as needed

5. PRIMARY CONTACTS, BOTH WITHIN AND OUTSIDE ORGANIZATION:

• All levels of Operations, Sales, and Finance personnel within the different regions and sites
• External auction companies and brokers
• External customers
• AMECO Management Team

6. NO. OF EMPLOYEES REPORTING TO POSITION OR DOLLAR IMPACT

• Responsible for travel and expense budget assigned to the position.
• University/college graduate.
• Four year bachelor degree, MBA preferred
• Fluent in English
• Competency in and at least one other international language preferred
• 6-8 years of international experience working in the sale of used equipment
• Direct experience in managing commercial functions and relationships.
• Understanding of construction applications and project management processes.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent networking ability and installed network
• Managing teams and teaming framework.
• Managing and determining solutions of complex problems.
• Eye for opportunities.
